3 A.M

It is 3 in the morning and I'm walking from room to room, unable to sleep. But as I wander about like a lost soul, i realize how eerie yet beautiful my house looks at night. Soft lights falling though windows casting fantastic moving shadows, of trees and lampposts outside, on the bed, floor, walls, everywhere...!!!
The whole damn house comes alive with a bluish hue!!!

The Cleansing...

Nostalgia, that's what describes which describes this place. Just one foot inside the place and I can't control my ear to ear grin. It was raining that day, heavily. That musical sound of water drops hitting the concrete flooring, drowning all the noise and that effervescent disarming fragrance of wet soil spreading like some contagious infection, none of us wanted to get back inside and continue with our work. We just wanted to breath in the cool breezy wind and that invigorating atmosphere.
What a day...

Blitzkrieg...

So every time I take the turn out of my apartment gate, I stand still...Just like that for at least 5 minutes. I can't help it, really. Its just this one small stretch of road, which in my opinion is so beautiful, picture-perfect, that every time I step out, I'm compelled to take a picture that justifies what I see. But that's the thing with nature's beauty. You just can't capture it lifelike.
Above are some of my desperate attempts. :/

The Delhi We Never Knew...

Located at a good distance away from the hub of Delhi, near an unassuming locality, is one of the famous monuments of India, the Qutub Minar.
The place has a silent melody to it as it speaks volumes about an exemplary rendition of amazing sturdy architecture and intricate carvings. The Minaret itself is in the centre of a massive courtyard containing lesser structures all around. Burial grounds, temple ruins and eroded minarets all relay a fascinating story of the times of yore.
Even during afternoons, the place has a cold and eerie feeling. Light filters through the numerous pillars,
creating fantastic shadow play on the walls, making the artwork on them come alive.
One can capture great shots because of the intertwining of the monuments with the greenery all around.
Like how my colleague said, Delhi has more to it than what meets the eye...

The Land of Eternal Youth...Goa

These are just some of the photos I managed to click on my recent trip to Goa. Neither photos nor words do enough justice to describe how beautiful a place it was. Being a nature lover, I definitely want to go back and explore that place of zen.
To me, the feeling of being in Goa sunk in pretty late. My dream destination, finally and I’m there, in it, living it.
So, here on, I shall call it ‘Island Paradise’, the land of peace and harmony, where dreams come true and lives are built. Where every second lived presents a thousands possibilities. Every step taken is like a step towards freedom. Where every house on every street feels like its alive and breathing, thriving and throbbing with new born life. Ever seen a freshly drenched rain forest, how breathtakingly beautiful it is. Every color so vivid, every plant, tree, bush or shrub yawning and stretching as if from a deep slumber reaching out for the sky. That’s exactly how Goa is! It’s fresh, it’s lush and it’s simply Beautiful.
