The Delhi We Never Knew...

Located at a good distance away from the hub of Delhi, near an unassuming locality, is one of the famous monuments of India, the Qutub Minar.
The place has a silent melody to it as it speaks volumes about an exemplary rendition of amazing sturdy architecture and intricate carvings. The Minaret itself is in the centre of a massive courtyard containing lesser structures all around. Burial grounds, temple ruins and eroded minarets all relay a fascinating story of the times of yore.
Even during afternoons, the place has a cold and eerie feeling. Light filters through the numerous pillars,
creating fantastic shadow play on the walls, making the artwork on them come alive.
One can capture great shots because of the intertwining of the monuments with the greenery all around.
Like how my colleague said, Delhi has more to it than what meets the eye...
